 My bride brought me swatches of her wedding dress fabric and an exquisite shawl to show me her preferred color palette. And so ensued this gorgeous floral combination of vibrant fall shades. She (with the fabulous caterers “Just Us Catering”) had chosen the linen and napkin colors and so I married the two creating this renaissance style centerpiece, complete with copper urns, persimmons, pomegranates and green berries decorating the table.

   “Sustainable Meets Elegance” was my client’s request. My assignment was to create an arrangement using both flowers and succulents in white and green with hints of orange. It was a presidential event at the Rosewood Hotel, a beautiful site indeed. Gold wooden boxes filled with Dutch tulips, kale, roses, asclepias and various types of dusty miller were placed on a rustic birch bark square. Crackled gold votives on the rich orange tablecloth finished the look.
