This is me, at age five in our back garden, wearing a dress that was smocked by my mum (how did she find the time for that??!!). I remember she would always comb my hair off to the side and pop a Kirby grip in. It looks like I just plucked those lupines, guess I loved flowers back then, too!

![]() Here nature has been brought inside in a wonderfully elegant way. We anchored the Manzanita tree in heavy cement, sprayed the branches and container a shimmery gold, added gorgeous textural ribbon and then arranged beautiful flowers at the base. Sweet hanging candles lit up the night. ![]() Masks are an integral part of Mardi Gras culture. During early Mardi Gras celebrations hundreds of years ago, mask wearers could mingle with people of all different classes and could be whomever they desired, at least for a few days. On this night, they provided Today, they provided a whimsical, bold focal point for the evening's ball. ![]() Elegant florals graced some of the larger tables, each in a gold vase resting on Venetian style linens. Royal blue feathers nestled amoungst the white flowers and tied in the rest of the decor. |
